Jacinta Stewart

Chief Executive Officer of City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee

Ms. Jacinta Stewart, B.A.,H.Dip.Ed.,M.Sc.Ed.Man. is Chief Executive Officer of City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.  Before her appointment as CEO she was Education Officer with particular responsibility for Adult Education, which included VTOS; Adult Literacy; Workplace Basic Education; Community Education; Back to Education Initiative; Homelessness; Asylum Seekers; Separated Children; Adult Education Guidance Service; Disability Support Service and the Drugs Court Initiative.  She has also served as a teacher and an Adult Education Officer. 

She is also on the Boards of the Grangegorman Development Agency, the Teaching Council, the Education Finance Board and she is currently Chairperson of the Children Acts Advisory Board.  Her educational interests are adult education, further education and social inclusion.  Her general interests include reading, swimming and walking.
