Emma Kinsella
Emma Kinsella is currently head of Skills Policy and Enterprise Engagement at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.
In this role she leads the interface between DFHERIS and the wider skills ecosystem including enterprise and other non-governmental stakeholders, to ensure that responses for learners of all ages are fit for purpose and aligned with the needs of the economy, striving for continuous improvement in how that is achieved.
Emma’s role involves supporting key partnership platforms with enterprise and social partners including the National Skills Council and Regional Skills Fora; and representing the centrality of the Skills Agenda to Ireland’s economic and social success in both national and international settings.
Emma was the lead on the OECD Ireland Skills Strategy Review and acted as Irish Coordinator for the EU Year of Skills.
